A few minor adjustments turn a funfetti cake mix into colorful, chewy blondies. Top with frosting and even more sprinkles for extra pizzazz. You can easily sub your favorite cake mix flavor for funfetti.
Frosted Funfetti Blondies
½ cup butter, softened
1/3 cup light brown sugar
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
15 oz funfetti cake mix
¼ cup rainbow nonpareils
16 oz funfetti frosting
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Combine butter, sugar, water, eggs and vanilla.
Mix in cake mix.
Spread half dough in bottom of greased 9×13” baking dish.
Place single layer of cookies on top of dough.
Top with remaining dough.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely.
Top with frosting and sprinkles.
