Happy National Chocolate Ice Cream Day! Drop a scoop of ice cream into a creamy chocolate martini for this celebratory ice cream float. And – because I believe everyone should be able to celebrate this important day – this recipe is entirely dairy-free and vegan-friendly. (So it’s not technically ice cream but work with me here!)

Vegan Chocolate Martini Float

  • Servings: 1 drink
  • Time: 10 minutes
  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

2 oz chocolate liqueur (Regular Kahlua is vegan-friendly.)

2 oz chocolate soy or almond milk

1 oz chocolate vodka (Most brands of vodka are vegan-friendly. I used Three Olives Chocolate.)

1 scoop dairy-free chocolate ice cream (I used Ben and Jerry’s Non Dairy Chocolate Fudge Brownie.)

Cocoa powder

Directions:

Mix liqueur, milk and vodka.

Dip rim of glass into mixture and then roll in cocoa powder.

Scoop ice cream into glass.

Pour martini over top.

Serve.
